Brianna Vernon

Brianna Vernon is a renowned Jamaican media practitioner whose dynamic career in broadcasting began at the age of 20, when she became one of the youngest morning show co-hosts and producers at Mello FM, one of Jamaica's leading radio stations. She quickly rose to prominence as a presenter and producer onn Mello Daybreak, the station's flagship morning program, becoming a familiar and trusted voice across the island.

Before becoming a household name in media, Brianna worked in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry, where she supervised a team of agents who were dubbed "The Dream Team" for being the company's best-performing group for several consecutive weeks — an early indicator of her leadership, work ethic, and ability to bring out the best in others.

During her tenure at Mello FM, she also hosted the widely loved children's segment What the Kids Say, which featured the candid and often humorous comments of children on various topics. The show was a cultural favorite, earning her the affectionate title "Aunty Brianna" from her young listeners and their parents, who eagerly tuned in and participated each week.

Her career spans both radio and television. She has served as a news anchor and presenter for Mello TV and Riddim FM, and covered the 2020 Jamaican General Elections, reporting from various constituencies across the northern hemisphere of the island.

Brianna is also a talented singer-songwriter and music producer. She has released several original works, including her spiritually reflective project The Sovereign EP. Her most-streamed and beloved track is the emotive R&B single To Whom It May Concern (2019). She has also collaborated with notable Jamaican gospel entertainers such as DJ Troy.

As a published writer, Brianna's work has appeared in both international and regional outlets, including Caribbean POSH, DancehallMag, The Middle Land, and Her Bones, covering stories across news, fashion, and entertainment. She also authored and published the devotional journal Safe & Sound: 31 Days of Healing Inspiration.

In 2024, at just 27 years old, Brianna launched Noble Media Network, a faith-based media company dedicated to reviving objective journalism and spreading inspirational, truth-centered content in Jamaica and beyond. She produces and hosts the social commentary podcast The Independent Report and the Sunday morning talk show Talk More Soon, while publishing faith-based news, editorials and blogs via the network's website.

She continues to push boundaries and pioneer content that bridges faith and culture, offering a fresh, empowering perspective in today's media landscape.

Brianna's educational journey began at St. James Preparatory School, continued through Mount Alvernia High School for Girls, and culminated at Montego Bay Community College, where she laid the academic foundation for her multifaceted career.
